The Vitalis bookstore in the Golden Lane
Zlatá ulicka 22, Prague Castle
This small bookshop has been set up at no. 22 in honour of the writer Franz Kafka, who was probably the best known resident of the Golden Lane .
Kafka used to spend the evening hours in the cottage although he couldn't stay overnight in the small, sparsely furnished room. Among the pieces he wrote here are the narrations collected in A Country Doctor.

|
After reconstruction works in the Golden Lane, our bookshop will be reopened on June 1, 2011 |
